If you want to maximize your term as Chapter President, we’ve got the answer. The ATO Presidents Retreat has a proven track record and gets rave reviews from presidents who have attended.
“I would absolutely say it’s a requirement for presidents to be here and learn some of the things that I’ve learned,” said Chase Evans, president of Texas Tech’s Zeta Eta chapter.
“I’ve never gotten more information from any other program I’ve attended,” said Jeff Iker, former Northern Kentucky chapter president.
It always helps to talk to people that are going through or have gone through the same problems or situations you are facing. And it’s for that reason that it is essential that all chapter presidents attend the annual ATO Presidents Retreat where you can brainstorm with other chapter presidents from all over the country and hear expert advice from the staff at ATO National Headquarters. Think of it as an officer transition retreat from the professionals. The retreat can help prepare you to handle the daunting task of being the face of your chapter and to handle difficult situations that you will encounter.
There is no charge for this retreat; you just have to get to Indianapolis. This year’s retreat is January 9-11.
The retreat is for all ATO chapter presidents but vice presidents will be allowed to attend if there is space still available.
It’s important to begin looking at flights while the price is low if you are going to be flying into Indianapolis. Also, if you are flying in you’ll need to schedule your arrival between the hours of 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Jan. 9 and schedule your departure on Jan. 11 after 2 p.m.
Don’t take our word for it though; listen to what presidents say about their experience by clicking here.
